Fox-12 is an automated, entry-level beverage canning system designed for packaging and maintaining product quality, capable of packaging from tank or keg. Running up to 12 cans per minute continuously, the Fox12 canning system has all the features to meet your packaging needs.

Total control

The Fox 12 canning line provides complete control over the filling process through its intuitive HMI and high-quality diaphragm valve. Through the diaphragm valve users can adjust the filling speed and set the desired fill level for each can on the HMI. This allows for precise control over the amount of product in each can, ensuring consistency and reducing waste. Additionally, you have full control around fill head timers to ensure you can optimise time. We have made this extremely easy to use and no training is required

Dissolved oxygen prevention

The Fox 12 is equipped with 3 stage dissolved Oxygen prevention system. The user has full control of the stages via the user-friendly HMI interface.

Step 1: CO2 Pre-Purge

Before the can is filled with product it is completely flused with CO2 to rid the can of any oxygen. CO2 is heavier than Oxygen and hence replaces the space with CO2. The user has control over the speed and duration of the CO2 flush.

Step 2: Bubble burster and scraper

The FOX 12 also features a scraper that acts as a bubble burster to remove any remaining bubbles in the beer. Bubbles can act as pockets of air that can introduce oxygen into the beer, so removing them helps to reduce DO levels.

Stage 3: Underlid Gassing of CO2

Finally, just before the can is sealed, the FOX 12 provides a blanket of CO2 blown over the top of the can. This is called under lid CO2 gassing, and it helps to push out any remaining air from the can and create a low-oxygen environment. This step further reduces DO levels in the packaged beer.

All of these steps happen within 3 seconds after the can has been filled with beer, minimizing the amount of time that the beer is exposed to air and reducing the potential for DO pickup.
